Spring Time in Manchester

I took this out on a walk yesterday and yes, I think spring is here …birds are twittering and things are growing again.

Refreshingly beautiful. Where in Manchester did you find this? Maybe I’m blind for this but I haven’t seen any trees blossoming so promisingly. The photograph would make a fantastic desktop wallpaper. Have you thought about to publish it as such?

Thanks so much for letting me know you enjoyed my shot of the springtime blossom here in Chorlton. There are plenty of trees now heavy with the signs it is spring. I am not sure of the tree, could be hawthorn but maybe someone else could verify? It is on the main path from Chorlton IvyGreen Car Park which leads to the River Mersey. Good point about making some of my images available over the internet. It is something I need to look at, but getting the blog online has been the priority so far !!
